BACKGROUND
Caroline Christie-Coxon is an independent visual artist with a practice spanning more than 30 years, grounded in a multifaceted background across visual art and design. Her artwork is held in numerous public collections, including the Government of Western Australia, the Perth Transport Authority, the City of Stirling, the City of Belmont, the City of Kalamunda, the City of Swan, the Anglican Church, and Bethesda Hospital, as well as in private west Australian collections such as those of Frederic Filipo, Marco D’Orsogna, Evan Kakulas, and many others. She has completed major corporate commissions, including public artworks for 200 St Georges Terrace, 197 St Georges Terrace, Kewdale Central, and The Boulevard Hotel. From 1996 to 2006, she was the owner-operator of both the commercial art gallery Code Red Art in Perth and the interior design studio Code Orange Design, experiences that established a strong foundation for her independent practice.
