Sea flora plays a vital role in capturing carbon and producing at least 50% of Earth's oxygen. They are a primary producer, using sunlight to convert carbon dioxide and water into oxygen and carbohydrates through photosynthesis.
By placing myself within these landscapes, I initiate a silent dialogue between human presence and the natural world, emphasising the weight of collective responsibility to protect and nurture the earth.
The body symbolises the feminine aspect of a universal body, intricately woven into the fabric of the natural environment, unveiling the inseparable bond between humanity and nature.
The veil serves as a metaphor for humanity’s disconnection from the environment and at the same time evokes the mystery of revelation and rediscovering our place.
