ART SERIES

As a happening, Christie-Coxon’s fire-circle work exists only in the moment, resisting commodification and permanence. This makes it an act of pure energy, something that cannot be owned or preserved but only experienced. In burning within the circle, fire both respects and challenges the structure, emphasizing the paradox of art as both a gesture of containment and release.
